Wetland ranger Ma Xili and his mangroves in Jiangmen
Ma Xili has been a wetland ranger in Shenjing Town, Taishan, Jiangmen for 17 years. His daily routine is to patrol the mangrove wetland to clean up trash and watch out for perpetrators. The Taishan Zhenhaiwan Mangrove National Wetland Park in Jiangmen is the largest and best-preserved contiguous mangrove wetland in the Pearl River Delta region.
