Shenzhen's Liantang Port started operation on August 26th in 2020, this checkpoint also came as the first with direct access facilities for both passengers and vehicles.

According to an official of the Office of Port of Entry and Exit of Shenzhen, the land port realizes "one stop, one inspection and one release" for cross-border vehicles.

And it has equipped with the country’s first CT-type H986 inspection machine for customs clearance, which can implement non-intrusive inspections and make the procedures of clearance easier and faster.

Now a cargo vehicle can finish customs clearance in one minute. As for the epidemic control requirements, it will take more time for drivers to remove their masks to measure temperature, scan health codes, etc.

“Usually, drivers only need to take fingerprint verification, swiping information cards and facial recognition when passing customs, and the whole process can be finished in 18 seconds," said the official.
