Running until September 11, the event follows a “three conferences, five exhibitions” model, featuring three major events: the 10th China Airport Service Conference, the 7th Airport Experience Summit, and the 17th Airport Working Group Meeting of the Sino-UK Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade.

The Expo has drawn over 2,000 delegates, including industry leaders, corporate executives, and expert representatives from more than 150 airports in over 70 countries and regions, as well as representatives from more than 40 civil aviation-related enterprises.

For the first time, the Airport Council International's (ACI) World's Airport Experience Summit is being held in China, with this year's edition focused on "reshaping human-centered travel." Discussions are set to highlight how artificial intelligence, biometrics, and digital platforms can deliver seamless journeys while supporting more efficient airport operations.

On the exhibition floor, more than 300 companies are showcasing new technologies, ranging from baggage-handling and runway robots to smart boarding systems and emergency response equipment.

The expo also saw recognition for service excellence, with 51 airports, including Beijing Daxing, Guangzhou Baiyun, and Qingdao Jiaodong, awarded for quality of service in 2024. Organizers say the event underlines China's commitment to deepening international cooperation in civil aviation and is expected to serve as a platform for global exchange, showcasing advances in airport technology while strengthening international partnerships in the aviation industry.
