According to the Hengqin Border Inspection Station, on February 14, the number of vehicles passing through Hengqin Port exceeded 9,100 trips, setting a new all-time record. Among these, outbound vehicles reached 4,400 trips, while inbound vehicles surpassed 4,700 trips. Additionally, the number of Macao single-plated vehicles exceeded 6,100 trips, accounting for 66.5% of the total daily vehicle flow, also marking a record high.

Since last year, with the full operation of 30 joint "one-stop" vehicle inspection channels and the accompanying passenger inspection hall at Hengqin Port, the infrastructure for connectivity between Hengqin and Macao has been further enhanced. Official data shows that the average daily vehicle flow at Hengqin Port was 5,200 trips in 2023 and 6,500 trips in 2024. Since 2025, the average daily vehicle flow has surged to 8,000 trips, a year-on-year increase of 22.2%, with Macao single-plated vehicles accounting for two-thirds of the total traffic.
