The Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin has opened applications for Macao-linked companies for the 2024 funding application program. This program offers substantial support of up to 800,000 yuan to eligible enterprises to strengthen cross-border collaboration and boost economic development within the zone.

The program consists of two types of funding: supporting funding and certification funding. For supporting funding, companies registered in the cooperation zone can receive up to 800,000 yuan per project, which is equivalent to 50% of the funding they obtain from the Macao SAR Government for technology projects between January 1 and December 31, 2024.

For certification funding, enterprises that receive certifications such as potential tech company, growing company, or key tech company from the Macao SAR Government in 2024 can apply for one-time funding of 200,000, 400,000, or 800,000 yuan, respectively.

The application period is open until May 6, 2025.
