Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 534.04 billion RMB, the secondary sector was 5.28 trillion RMB, and the tertiary industry was 7.09 trillion RMB, increasing by 5.2 percent, 2.5 percent and 1.2 percent, respectively.

In 2022, the province's industrial added value above the scale reached 3.95 trillion RMB, an increase of 1.6 percent over the same period last year. Among the pillar industries, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were booming, with the automobile manufacturing industry growing by 20.8 percent, new energy industries such as lithium battery and photovoltaic developed rapidly, with the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry growing by 2.8 percent.

Statistics show that the added value of Guangdong's service industry increased by 1.2 percent year on year, and the total retail sales of consumer goods reached 4.49 trillion RMB, an increase of 1.6 percent over the same period last year.
