On the fifth anniversary of the release of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Consul General of France in Guangzhou talked about the development opportunities and cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area."The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is a truly extraordinary region in economic terms, not only driving China's economy but also contributing to the global economy. It's a region full of opportunities," said Sylvain Fourriere, Consul General of France in Guangzhou, in an exclusive interview with GDToday.

Fourriere praised the economic achievements of the GBA. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. He looked forward to more cooperation between Chinese and French companies in the Greater Bay Area.

"The French companies based here are expanding their activities and playing a full part in the development of this area. I can only hope that French companies and Chinese companies in the Greater Bay Area will continue to increase their cooperation, in China of course, and I hope also in France," said Fourriere.
